This Italian landscape measures 3.5" and was inspired by Tuscany's pretty countryside and my desire to visit it in person one day.
The design was first free-hand drawn directly on the canvas, hand stitched with embroidery floss, then stretched over a bamboo hoop, and backed with felt.
This piece uses 11 colors with the number of strands varying in the different details, and the back is signed and dated.
